Peter Jan or “PJ” is a co-founder of GlobalView. Before co-founding GlobalView in 2007, PJ was 22 years with Citigroup in Capital Markets and Private Banking in Amsterdam, New York, Zürich and Geneva where he was Head of Banking for Europe, Middle East & Africa and Head of Citigroup Wealth Advisors for Switzerland, a unit that comprised private bankers, brokerage and servicing of independent asset managers. In addition, he served as a board member on various Citigroup hedge funds and special purpose vehicles. PJ has a BBA from Nijenrode University in The Netherlands and a MBA from Michigan State University.
Francis is a co-founder of GlobalView. Before co-founding GlobalView in 2007, Francis was Head of the Tailored Discretionary Investment team at Citigroup in Switzerland, which managed over USD 1 billion in client assets for clients with a minimum of USD 10 million. Prior to his 12 years at Citigroup, he was 5 years at Chase Manhattan Private Bank in Geneva as a Portfolio Manager. In addition, he worked for 6 years in investment banking and commercial real estate property development in the United States. Francis has a BS in Marketing Management and Finance from Bentley College in Boston.
Mathieu Raquillet is a Partner of GlobalView who joined GlobalView as director of investment research in March 2008 to lead the traditional asset classes fund selection effort before covering satellite assets and playing a key role in the management of GlobalView Funds Ltd. focusing on private equity and real estate. Prior to this, Mathieu worked in Paris for five years for Standard & Poor’s Fund Services (acquired in 2007 by Morningstar). He served as both a Data Analyst and Deputy Data manager before becoming a Product Specialist and Head of Client Servicing for France, Belgium, Luxembourg and the French speaking part of Switzerland. Mathieu holds a masters degree in Finance and Economics from Paris X University.
Before joining Global View, Michael was a Managing Director at JPMorgan steering USD 2 billion of wealth for twenty Middle East families. During his twenty year tenure at the Bank, Michael served on the board as Head of Investments for JPM Suisse and was elected as Chief Investment Officer of the Bank’s USD 250 million pension fund. Earlier in his career, he worked in Hong Kong with Schroders Asia for ten years managing the pension funds of leading Asian companies. Before this, Michael learned about the investment business in the research department of the UK Government Broker after graduating from London University.
GlobalView works closely with a number of Strategic Partners who introduce clients to GlobalView. These Strategic Partners are typically very experienced former private banking or investment professionals located in Europe and the Middle East who continue to be the principal interface with the clients with GlobalView having the ultimate responsibility for investment and regulatory matters in close cooperation with the Strategic Partners. GlobalView will share a portion of the agreed Investment management fees with the Strategic Partners.
